Re: Steelers signings and departures

I loved Sauce but I thought in his final year with us he had slowed down a touch. He struggled to catchup with a deep attack.

Re: Steelers signings and departures

My wife really hates being told who she should like and as a result feels Simmsed on Diffley... like the whole 'because he is worth it' crap means she should adore him... as result she isn't at all fussed about this re-signing... Jayboy I understand scientists are working on an anti-simms vaccine b...

Re: Steelers signings and departures

Arguably our most consistent performer in defence last season, so pleased to see him re-sign. I think that's all my definites re-signed now. I wouldn't be disappointed to see either Tait or Dougherty re-sign either, but for me they're less essential than the likes of Bamas and Diffley. Regards Doom...

Re: Steelers signings and departures

I guess we only offered him a two way with dogs. Essentially what he has been doing but puzzled about Belfast.

Re: Steelers signings and departures

It’s good to see that we have had top level hockey for long enough now to see these young talents coming through. There is another one who I have known from birth, Seth Bennet’s son Jonas. For years I had to roll balls across the suite at Nottingham during the playoffs for him to hit back at me. No...

The Swiss haven’t lost a game yet and they’ve outclassed other teams more. I thought that was our most creditable performance.

Make a mistake at this level and it’s can be very costly. If we don’t play at this level what are we supposed to do?
Oh, sorry. I didn’t see the same game as you.

Re: IIHF 2026 World Championship

I’m struggling to see what value it is playing at this level. Against the Swiss we have been totally outclassed. They even outplayed us when we were on a pp. Steele showed some promise and Robson did well in the net, but otherwise….

Re: IIHF 2026 World Championship

Very disappointing performance against a Hungary side we should have been able to at least hold our own with not lose by 5. The first 3 went against Bowns who was pulled and hadn’t looked sharp. Kirk gave the puck away ridiculously on a pp so they scored a SHG. Hungary shooting was lethal and too go...

Re: Team at a glance..

OK little to object too, but I’m looking for the improvement we need. Looks as if it will depend on the remaining forward signings. Can Fox deliver?
