Re: GAME THREAD. Steelers v Storm: PLAYOFF SEMI-FINAL: Saturday 18th April
You'd like to think the neutrals would get behind the tournament underdogs, Glasgow. It's worth highlighting just how much of an underdog they are; they finished 8th in the league and hence had to turn over the league winners to get there. When was the last time the 8th placed team has made it to t...

Re: GAME THREAD: Clan v Steelers: Sun 5th April
Bringing it back to the Clan and not really having a better place to put this.... While we have @DiscoRay Disco Rays (A great contributor towards our forum btw) attention. I would like to draw attention to the fate of Clan backup goalie Lucas Brine if possible and certainly gets Disco Ray's comment...

Re: GAME THREAD: Clan v Steelers: Sun 5th April
Thanks for that Doom, I couldn't find any official rules about tie-breaking. I assume that neither could the Elite League website contributor who this morning wrote: "Sheffield Steelers will finish third if they better Nottingham's result against Cardiff." FYI the link to the criteria is here: http...

Re: GAME THREAD: Steelers v Clan: Saturday 4th April
Once I seen our line-up I knew we'd resigned ourself to playing Belfast with sitting 5 imports. Got the result I feared we might, just took longer than expected but we melted away soon as the 1st went in.

Re: GAME THREAD: Steelers v Clan: Saturday 4th April
It's a weird double-header, as I think both teams would like to face one another in the Play-Off QFs, but any outcome just ensures we avoid one another! We need to win both, and also hope Coventry drop at least 2 points for us to move up to 7th and avoid Belfast. Slim chance, but it's at least somet...

Bad, lazy and soft : Aaron Fox Correct He also used the term ‘unprofessional’. Let’s hope it has the desired effect. But fans, please pay these much higher ticket prices next season. That's the kind of frustration us up at the Clan have put up with the past few years. Tickets up nearly 40% in the 3...

Re: Arena Parking and new IS charge
Update from Facebook - sorry for misinformation previously as charges do not appear to be in place yet - see attached IMG_0729.jpeg Definitely keep the pressure up, very much one of these "give an inch, lose a mile" situations. As they'll just charge users a year or two later after this initial "ex...

Re: Season Tickets 26/27 massive price increase
Did those other sports pay to get TV coverage? And as you say, BBL is a stability disaster so did the TV deal do anything for it? Did the broadcaster see any uptick in subscription? Would a TV deal effectively replace potential lost income from webcasts? Sponsership again isn't as easy as "here's a...
