Can't fault the last 40 minutes of that game. Wore their D down and capitalised on chances.
Giants what I expected in many ways, albeit slightly short benched - their forwards are very good and keep teams pinned in their zone, but D is the weakness.

Something that Fox does which is absolutely correct and yet frustrating as hell is to shield dressing room drama or injuries from the public. Seitz is clearly uninjured or he wouldn't have been signed by Guildford but something has happened which made Fox unable to trust him on the ice and he's mad...

Sometimes players don't work out. It happens, see it in the NHL constantly, so no reason why it shouldn't happen here.

I don't think any of the teams who will be challenging for the title would have any sympathy for us if we had been short benched, it's an opportunity to take two points against a team who were bound to run out of gas at some stage, we managed the first period, dominated the second and shut them dow...

Will be Giants 3rd game in 4 nights, and they have a few injuries. Got to try and take advantage of that and get a regulation time win.

Slow 1st 10 minutes but then got rolling. Definitely made easier by the short bench Guildford had but professional job all round.

Flames have really picked up the last few games - going to be a tough one, but ultimately a winnable game and want to maintain early pressure on the top end of the table. Same line up again - No Seitz or Juusola. Greenfield starts Given I can't imagine Seitz sticking around if he's a healthy scratch...
