There was a post about Diffley and Gettinger arriving over the weekend that suggested there's a signing to be announced soon.
No idea on the player but think it's a done deal now.

It's our annual Wetherspoons pub crawl today where we spend hours discussing hockey, looking at stats and then making our pre season predictions from 10 to 1. Imo it all comes down to coaching no matter what the players are like and Keefe is head and shoulders above everyone. Yes we may have great NHL players etc (well one) but give Fox 4 weeks and he will be average So if it doesn't have anything to do with players, why did Belfast win naff all in 23-24...

Definitely a very quiet 'open rumours ' year. The ones who do know are the ones who don't shout about it and the leaks have seemingly been plugged to the usual rumour accounts.

My guess is Archambault/Rockwood/Balmas Juusola/Gettinger/Teissala Jasper/Collins/Dowd IBN/Whistle/Tait Cormier/Erkamps Aarnio/Roe Diffley/Steele Bottom 6 might change a bit but a few different looks that could be tried. And apparently he's definitely played a good amount at centre even though he's listed as w/c on elite prospects. Including in some of his NHL games
