Re: Fife in trouble again?

Even though I'm Steelers through & through, I also love the game of hockey, if I had the money, I'd be more than happy to buy Fife & see the good times return.

It's a massive worry that after the original takeover, it's come to this yet again.

Those Fans deserve better.

Re: GAME THREAD: Giants v Steelers: Sat 17th

I haven’t seen the games but from what I’ve seen and heard we deserved what we got. It’s true life goes on but supporters pay a lot of money towards this club (season tickets, home support, fantastic away support 50/50 etc). It’s not unreasonable to be disappointed when you feel some are not giving...

Said at the time the deal was signed it was a very bad idea to get into bed with Adam Shaw, looks like I was proved right.

Re: Jason Lafreniere RIP

Would just like to echo what many of you have said in this thread, what a player, a pure genius of the game, he had it all.

Thank you for the memories & your time here as a Steeler.

R.I.P gone far far too soon

Thoughts are with his family & friends.

Re: Gentile leaves

One of the things that didn't help Gentile is the fact Fox was swapping lines every 2 seconds, he started the season on fire but started to lose his way. Reading the press release, it wasn't by Mutual Consent, he just upped & left, which I found pretty distasteful, he clearly didn't want to be here ...

Re: GAME THREAD: Steelers v Storm: Tues 30th.

That 2nd period was dreadful, we all welcomed Watling back but my word that D at times is terrible. This consistent Tansey on the forward line is baffling, he's a D man, please please get him back on the blueline, he's okay as an emergency forward when we're low buy right now, we're not. Personally ...

Quite a rumour if true.

Wonder where he'll head then, I can't see him heading to Sheffield unless we're cutting someone as we're already 1 import over the limit

Sounds daft what I'm about to say but what about Fife?

So yet again we run with 11F and 7D with Seitz left out. This is gonna be an issue for us long term.
Don't understand why we're leaving out a guy who put up 59 points (30G 29A) in the EIHL last season....

Re: GAME THREAD: Devils v Steelers: Pre-Season

I see a few on the Devils forum are pointing to the number of imports we had playing. According to the gamesheet we had 15 out skating imports to their 14, which is hardly a significant difference. I think some are counting Greenfield, but he sat on the bench all game. No doubt Cardiff were the bet...
