Remember making the mistake of judging Joel Laing on the basis of his previous stats. Spoke to Kayle Short who said the team were atrocious and without Laing it would have been regular double figure concessions. It turned out that Mr Laing was a fair old goalie.

Could it be Stephen Harper? Elite says 6 ft 3 in but elsewhere on internet he is given as 6 ft 5 in. Played AHL and DEL last year. He can also play D. Interesting that he played with Kirk at Tucson.

Sure we could have combined the wages of our two keepers and gone fishing. However had we done that and got a stud keeper to sign it would have left us vulnerable should that keeper become injured or he had struggled with having to play every night. Used to play field hockey and wondered what the game was like on ice. I went to the first home league game against Chelmsford Chieftains which we drew 3 Vs 3 with a late Rocket Ron goal. Must have liked it as the whole family are still avid fans.
