Re: GAME THREAD: Steelers v Panthers: CUP Semi-Final 2nd leg: Wed 25th Feb

A fantastic game, the effort from the three lines was fantastic. A game of ifs and buts. If Jasper could hit the target on one of his 3-4 great chances. If Tait also with his great build up play could bury the puck. If only the Notts d man hadnt cleared the puck from near the goal line when it got p...

Can we do our own Miracle on Ice and overturned this deficit?;
Mmm i'm not sure with this team, let's hope we don't concede early on the first shift or two as we frequently do.

Re: GAME THREAD: Flames v Steelers: Sat 21st Feb

More chopping and changing of the top three lines. Id have been tempted to leave Harper Heard Ritchie alone and shuffled the other 6 but Aaron doesn't work like that. Hopefully we can come away with the two points

Re: What happens now!

The league may be out of reach but the season certainly is not over, there's a Cup and the playoffs still to go for. If we won both would you still consider the season a failure or is a grand slam the only measure of a successful season for you ?. Winning either, or both of those, is possible, but ...

Kelly has improved a lot recently, but tonight he looked totally out of his depth.
Heard, Cormier, Juus also -3 on the night, several others -2. Bigger names, bigger pay checks.

No Shudra tonight
Considering our coach bleats on about wanting to play fast four line hockey he sure does all he can NOT to!

Re: GAME THREAD: Giants v Steelers: Fri 16th Jan

We seem to be following the same pattern as the two seasons prior to the Grandslam. In both those seasons we fell apart in the 2nd half of the season. I was hoping we'd replace Fox at the end of the 22/23 season because of the way we'd repeated our collapse of 21/22. As it turned out it was a good ...

Re: GAME THREAD: Giants v Steelers: Fri 16th Jan

Tony Smith is going to have to persuade fans and will have a hard job doing so, that Fox is the man to stick with going forward. For me, it's time for a change, we need freshening up, it's all very stale and average. For me the league has gone, a lot of the imports are very meh and won't be here nex...

Interesting that the rather flattering Steelers report fails to identify any of the problems we can all see. Is this self-delusion part of the problem?
Yes
