I knew the Devils would play a bit physical/chippy but I was disappointed with their play acting/simulation trying to trick refs into giving us penalties. There was 3-4 occasions where this happened. Disappointing to see.
I noticed that too. Looked more like footballers than hockey players at times when diving.

Great game to watch last night, thought the team looked every part a winning group, lets hope this continues with trips to Belfast, Manchester and Coventry etc?
Yes ! I thought the Devils were throwing themselves around a bit! I always commented on Jake Morrisette and how he used to trip himself up behind the net to gain a penalty, must be showing some old footage to the devils players. Lets hope its not a sign of things to come.

Only negative I have, relates to the same comments others have already mentioned about Valley, he just doesn't seem to be moving as freely?

Carrying a couple of knocks according to interview with Fox. Worth remembering that it's longer for Vally and Kielly in terms of their last competitive games as both were injured for last part of last season. Probably gonna take them both a few extra games than others to really get up to full game fitness

Sorry for a stupid typo. We were clearly the better side in the first which was what I meant.

I was a bit concerned going into this game and thought we would be really tested. I was pleased that we were dominant for the most part and the lads tried really hard. Bowns had a great game and deserved MoM in my opinion. He kept the Devils hope alive throughout. The amount of effort could take its toll tonight, but hope not. A good gritty display.
