We can't expect anything out of the ordinary from our new netminder. He's played two games all season.
He isn't going to be anywhere near match fit, even if he was the standard of Greenfield, I won't be expecting him to be standing on his head having only played two games all season!
Does make me wonder if playing one of our Brit goalies would be worth a shot? Are they really that bad that we scared stiff of giving them a game?

I fail to see what other conclusion we are meant to believe? Surely Fox has a good enough handle on what calibre of netminder he needs.smbmetal wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 2:25 pmWe can't expect anything out of the ordinary from our new netminder. He's played two games all season.

but Fox has past issues with the netminders he has hired? Maybe his scouts are not that expertise in this area of the team? Greenfield being the obvious exception?

Tickets sorted, looking forward to seeing the new goalie and also some spicy antics, after the last Cardiff game with Shudra. Maybe some scores to settle.southernsteeler wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 11:15 amI don't suppose anyone has tickets for sale for this game, do they?![]()
Good to see Dowdy and Watling back, though suspect they may not be 100% fit still.... absolute warriors!
That line-up does look a little bit more balanced than the weekend, but a lot will depend on how fit they all our.
I'm not convinced by Levins two way game, so feel safer with him down on the 4th.
Hopefully the new netminder will get a few early simple saves. Having not played much recently, he'll need to build his confidence and get his timing right.
I can't say I'm confident, but I feel better than I did first thing this morning.
Regards

Has anyone else noticed that Devils TV streams against the Steelers cost £15 but only £9.99 against other teams.
Hasn't been £9.99 for years now. £15 for everyone not just Steelers.Nottonsteeler wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 5:30 pmHas anyone else noticed that Devils TV streams against the Steelers cost £15 but only £9.99 against other teams.

Just check. What a liberty. I guess they know they will have more fans from Sheffield buying it despite the quality.Nottonsteeler wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 5:30 pmHas anyone else noticed that Devils TV streams against the Steelers cost £15 but only £9.99 against other teams.
Unfortunately I’m one of them
I would love to see some retribution for the hit on Sauce. Unfortunately in the modern game it really isn’t followed up on. One of the main reasons I watch at least 50% less hockey than I used to.southernsteeler wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 4:00 pmTickets sorted, looking forward to seeing the new goalie and also some spicy antics, after the last Cardiff game with Shudra.
