If we do happen to start the season in October or whenever that will be, I think our most important signing would be to get the Goaltending right.

Last season the whole Whistle situation was left too long in my opinion and as a fan the goalie signings felt rushed. Kantor was a mistake and fortunately we managed to get Duba in at almost the last minute.

I'd be surprised if we keep Duba as our number one, but it would be nice to see him as either a backup or goalie coach if funding allowed.

I hope we do get this position sorted more quickly than we did last season as I feel that was one of Mr Fox's few mistakes of last season, letting the Whistle situation linger on. Perhaps Brodeur was brought in with a view to see if he would be good enough for this season?

Whatever happens, I think getting this signing right is extremely important.

Bigger Goalies tend to do well over here, think Beskorowany (6"4) or Stewart (6"5).

We don't have many big Goalies in hour history.

Obviously that's not everything, but the more net you cover naturally, you don't have to be as good as if you're smaller.
