So, I thought I’d start a new thread. The question I’m asking people to comment on is...’What is your favourite highlight hockey moment?’ I’d have to say for mine it was the very first shift that Ben Simon played. After the traumatic events of the previous month or two, that shift and that hit, told me that things were going to be alright. For me the benchmark for what was expected was demonstrated on that shift. So what are your hockey related highlight moments?

One of the worst things the club did was to get rid of Colt King.

That Ben Simon first shift was something else, you just knew that that team were not one to be pushed around. Every player bought into what he was doing, it was a shame that R***n (can't bring myself to type his name such is my dislike of the man) ruined it after one season.

I'm going to go for the 2009 play-off final against the Puddycats which we won 2-0 thanks to goals from Finner and Munner. Munner's goal was only his second all season, but what a goal it was. Then there was Jody's celebration at the end....
Hockey fan since 1980, Steeler since day one.

He would have been a massive fan draw. Imagine how many Colt 45 shirts could have been sold.
We needed a heavyweight character and he was perfect for it.

I'd go with Sarich's winning goal in the NIC with 2.4 seconds to go. Can't remember the year now but it was early on in my Steelers experience.

Levi's playoff winning goal in 2017 after all the overtime, pain killing injections and the rest.

Far to many to mention, including all the above, but I am going to go retro and go for the Scott Allison antics, after getting a fake glove drop from Corey Spring I think it was and Scott getting instigator 2 minute minor, he started stripping himself and the penalty box of all its contents and started throwing them out over the plexi on to the ice. :D

Only to serve his time and then come out and batter the snot out of the for mentioned Corey Spring more or less within seconds of leaving penalty box and stepping on the ice... :peek:
