Game On

An expected victory BUT a good performance for most of the match,, cant ask anymore, goals scored,, clean sheet kept and records broken and equaled. A good w/end but need to keep it going against the tougher teams,,,, we shall see

Excellent game. The most pleasing aspect for me is that we appear to have settled lines for the first time this season, and doesn't it show. Although Ritchie is not the most energetic of players his skill and calmness appears to be rubbing off on the rest of the players. Long may it continue. Congratulations to Dowdy and Greener.

For me it was good that we were so settled and confident in all the play. Guys finding each other instinctively, and then clinical finishing, IBN and Watson both netting on a useful 4th line. And very positively - they kept it up for the whole 60mins and didn’t let up.

Clearly we were markedly superior, but this and the Fife game have been the few occasions where we’ve looked so confidently convincing of that. A lot to be happy about in my book.

Great weekend. We certainly have two great netminders don't we?!!
Clinical finishing and good defence . As Greeny says, now we have to see if we can reproduce that against the top teams , maybe it's not all over yet ??

Just seen the stats. No fewer than 17 players had at least 1 point. That’s what you call a team result.

Can't complain about anything last night. Great to see the 4th line with a big contribution. Were dominant when on the ice, although has to be said that Dundee were awful.

Watson and IBN should be full time next year. Not sure where that will leave Shudra but can't deny those 2 the opportunity based on current play. Noticed IBN getting some PK time as well which is interesting (and good to see).

More to the point where is Shudra?
Last played 31 January in Manchester.

I thought I'd seen he was injured somewhere but can't remember exactly.

I think he's up against it to get ahead of Watson and IBN when he is fit, but also might depend on what the feeling is on what's best for IBN/Watson in terms of development. There's games coming up where having a more experienced head on the 4th, with maybe a little more defensive game might be a better choice.

To be honest I like games to be a bit more competitive than this one. The flip side to my own feelings though is that this was a great team performance with so many contributing to the result. Throw Dowd's goal and Greener's shut-out into the mix and it was a great game to witness. Hopefully it will be a great confidence booster as well
