Poor officiating process there, a natural break allowed them to discuss and review for a potential major given the amount of blood. Didn't happen.

That has to go down as one of the worst refereeing decisions ive seen at the arena in recent years... Disgusting behavior from the referee afterwards also... Turning his back on the bleeding Dougherty and then on Fox trying to talk to him about the incident... then the replay clearly shows the incident... a total shambles.. the entire on ice team ought to be ashamed of themselves

The day of the players having the bottle to out in the 3rd and paste the guy senseless have long gone sadly

If the ref’s missed it, then I don’t care whether the game has changed or not, the player making the hit needs some retribution.

Both Shudra, Dowd and even Richie are all capable of delivering it.

Glad I’m not watching the game, as I’m sure I’d be going barmy over a non-call or zero retribution

As I've been saying for years on the subjects of refs, if clubs have an issue they need to complain to themselves about it, since the clubs run the league. Want different/better officials, gotta pay for'em!
