Steelers announce the return of 27 year old Canadian winger Tanner Eberle!

Eberle has two EIHL seasons under his belt with us playing 127 games scoring 80 points. Last season in particular he was immense picking up the EIHL’s best +/-, Challenge Cup best +/-, as well as the Challenge Cup itself.

Previously he has 176 ECHL games with the likes of Allen Americans, Quad City Mallards & Jacksonville IceMen.

Also a handful of AHL call-ups for Iowa & Bridgeport.

Personally think that’s a fantastic signing! good age, great skater, can hit when needed, 20+ goals last year, best +/- in league.

Pleased to see Tanner back. I thought he had an excellent season for us last season.

I have to admit I was a little concerned when he admitted himself that last season we wasn’t really his first choice, but he was certainly one of our stand out players.
