Belfast were and still remain my title favourites, so for me anybody finishing a place above Belfast win the league.

I'd start Barry Friday and see how he goes. If he has an outstanding performance and feels he can do Saturday as well I'd give him both. Then give Rok the midweek game.

It's a huge weekend, it certainly won't decide the league title, but it could give a good pointer as to which way it's likely to go.

Regards

This is going to be the test of what team the Steelers have evolved into after the enforced changes. We need a quick strong start and a full 60 minutes from all the players. I still think the 2 goalies need to be rotated depending on busy they are but that’s Foxes call, thank goodness. He knows his players and what is happening behind the scenes. Rok is the one with the best away stats I think?
I still think we need more consistency even with the recent good results.
Looking forward to it and will be very happy with a split weekend.

A split weekend would be a good result I think.

Belfast will want revenge after their thrashing at the arena. One of our best games of the season so far.

Nothing is going to be won or lost this weekend. But this is a proverbial “eight pointer” of a weekend 1st vs second.

We’ll need to be at our absolute best.

Belfast were without Cam Knight, Slater Doggett, Darcy Murphy & Ciaran Long through injury. Ben Lake will be back after suspension.

They have brought in young players to fill the roster such as Mackenzie Stewart, Carter Hamill & Adam Robinson.

If Belfast win both games this weekend (in regulation) and win their game in hand we'll be level on points. If we can take one game to OT then at least we stay ahead.

Think we will win both if we start out of the blocks, start the first period like we did against Coventry and Cardiff at home. It will be a cricket score. I’m still concerned over the loss of goals we have over the season, we have secondary scoring in abundance but it is just that!! We’re relying on players that in their usual roles wouldn’t be putting up large numbers on the scoring front, let’s hope Aarons confidence in the players we have continue to post good numbers all season.🤞

Hopefully we get a few bodies back including Lake who returns from suspension, I would take a split weekend so think we will win Friday but not have the legs for Saturday. Besko needs to be on his game to give us any chance and has been playing better of late so hopefully that can continue this weekend.

Both this weekends fixtures have been postponed.

Corona seems to have rocketed in a fortnight, league has gone from unaffected to Corona ridden.

We’ll now (allegedly) take on the Cardiff Devils in Wales on Saturday 18th Dec.
