Title is still in our own hands. Just means we have to beat Belfast 3 times.
As a one off game I could see it but not over 3 games, we will lose at least one of those.
Fat Lady is very much warming up. Will she be singing next weekend?
GAME THREAD: Storm v Steelers Sun, 3rd April 5:30pm

We are three points behind Giants with one game in hand.
If we beat Storm on Wednesday we are one point behind, same games.
If we then beat Giants twice at home we are three points ahead, both with two games left.
If we then beat Clan away we are five points ahead and Giants remaining two games don't matter even if they beat us on 15th April?

The odds dont look good but we can hope.. I think we will come up a day late and a dollar short... but I really do believe they have it in them, I dont think collectively we can complain about our team when you look what them lot down the road are having to put up with...maggie52 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 03, 2022 10:39 pmWe are three points behind Giants with one game in hand.

A game of if, buts and maybes.
We hit the pipes twice
They hit the post once and the puck rebounded off Rok and, according to Hogarth, over the line - didn't look over to us.
Schulze and Dowd missed easy chances, Latal missed a glorious chance in OT
Armstrong did the goalie twice in the SO and missed
On another day, things would have gone our way.
Having said that, it shouldn't have mattered. We should have used our superior speed and skill and been out of sight.
Need to take a lot of hope (rather than expectation) into next weekend

I would imagine it will have already been reviewed as all major penalties are automatically reviewed according to DOPS.

I haven't seen any highlights or the incident and whilst Springer is certainly no angel, I would suggest the kick was unintentional. Sure if it was serious enough he would have got an appropriate suspension.
In the old days of course Mr Ellerby would be looking to even things up if he was kicked. Unfortunately the rough stuff days have gone, there's more chance of Springer going after him again.
I'm glad Springer is playing as he (for me) can liven up a dull game, which most have been against the Storm that I've seen this year at least.
