Interesting facts and numbers but It's all related to other teams and their roster ratios surely?? How does Fox compare right across the league not just a % figure for two clubs?
You cant say we have more european players than say Guildford without their breakdown of recuitment, or Dundee have more NA players than XY
or Z? without the figures for all.

His recruitment of netminder is questionable. His two successful signings, Duba and Rok, both arrived as back up, not as first choice. The others have not impressed at all.
I'd be happy to have Rok back next term, but backing up an absolute stud goalie. I read that statistically Rok is the 3rd best ever Steelers goalie.

When I look at that list the concern for me is the lack of players from the ECHL.
In the past that has been a happy hunting ground for Steelers coaches, but it would seem Fox doesn't have the contacts over there, which will restrict our recruitment opportunities.
Fox tends to recruit players he's either had on his team or played against, which is fine, but as I've mentioned previously it's been a few years since Fox has been in mainland Europe so if he follows that pattern we're going to have a very old team.
I suspect he will have to take a different path in his recruitment for next season, which may mean a bit more gambling with players he's not seen before.
It's going to be interesting to see where he does the majority of his recruiting.....maybe a few players from other clubs in this country?
