Happy to see him back he really deserves his place.
He says he signed some time ago, so am a bit disappointed we didn’t know about it sooner. Drip feeding news like this at this stage takes the edge off it as we’re all waiting for a big new signing.
I agree with all of that Pete. This drip-feeding nonsense grinds my gears.
Two trains of thought here for me.....
1. The usual we know (the club) something you don't (fans).
2. The club are using the drip feeding approach so not to show our hand too early to our rivals and competitors?

Very positive signing. Glad he is back and feel he will continue to develop. I wonder whether he would have been signed without the import rule which forces all teams to sign British players or whether we would have signed an end of career player overseas player on the cheap?

So with approx 14 or 15 more places to fill, the season will have started before they’re all announced.
I can see the reason why the recruitment doesn’t all happen quickly but holding back on news is a bore.
