That’ll do, tie is ours to lose now.

Generally games against Fife aren’t going to be barnstormers. Exhibition games at best.
They don’t have the player budgets to compete with the bigger teams unfortunately. They will produce the odd shock result though.

Fife defended well but we wore them down in the end. A good lead to take into Scotland. Good to see a referee changing his decision on Moseys goal after looking at the monitor. We don't get many of them !
Still lots of , mainly young , men on concourse with no masks. I think the phrase is can't be arsked or something similar.

Have to say I think the officials did a decent job. Last night, Dave Good is an NIHL official who often does Steeldogs and Leeds Knights. Think the step up did him good as he has to be more focussed and did well with what I assume was his first use of the goal review system.
They’ll have more difficult games, but kept it flowing where possible and I don’t remember too much that was poor.

I am really disappointed with the attitude of so many attendees at the Arena.
The following is a direct quote from the Utilita Arena website:
"Face coverings are now a mandatory requirement when attending the Arena or City Hall.
Everyone will be required to wear a mask when they are inside our buildings this includes both communal areas and when you are watching the event."
It is about time the Arena's staff or whoever they employ to carry out security etc. spent more time enforcing their own rules than wanding and searching bags for god knows what because when asked they "Can't tell you"
I have to say it but Nottingham Motorpoint Arena are way ahead of the SIV 's Utilita Arena both in organisation and customer service.
There is a seperate Covid check, there are banners telling you what you can and cannot take in, and don't get me started on the choice of food available, and the staff stop people going to their sears when play is taking place.
Apologies for going off subject of main thread, please feel free to move if you think it is necessary.
