We've been the better team and the Dowd line has looked very dangerous.

I found Allen a bit frustrating that period, he kept miscontrolling the puck at crucial times.

The stats may say different, but I thought Balmas was much stronger than Dowd at faceoffs. Maybe Fox needs to stick with Balmas taking them on that line.

We’ve dominated both periods but fluffed chances and had some mediocre goaltending. It feels like an old story in Scotland. Is there something wrong with our bus or what?

Quite agree. Was just thinking the same about Balmas in the faceoff circle. He has had a good game overall.

Well Greenfield did a lot better in third but the rest of them were largely ineffective. It goes to OT

A win is a win at the end of the day. We should have had this game out of sight in the first 2 periods.

I was pleased for Juusola, because he worked so hard all night.

Vallerand deserved MOTM, he looked more like his old self.

Overall I thought we just about deserved the win.

Watched it on the webcast, yes we should have had the game sown up after the first 20 mins!! missed endless clear chances to have scored a hat full, but still won the game which is critical in the end.
Still can't see how Cole is developing? he seems to get himself into good positions but then makes the wrong decisions! time and time again he wastes good opportunities. I think he needs someone to tell him to be more aggressive and far more direct!!

These wet Wednesday in Scotland games are ones we have tripped up in over the past few years, I'll take the win and move on.
