I've been looking at some of his videos and his numbers and other stats etc and I have a feeling Angelo may surprise a few people this coming season, especially given his motivation coming into what he regards as a top team and his need to prove himself again in a new league.
I think this may prove to be a very shrewd signing from Aaron.

Really like this signing. He obviously knows how to be a very good role player and I expect he'll be sound defensively having been playing a 3rd line role in Bolzano for so many years. Looks like he's got some nice offensive skills as well from some of the highlights. Pretty much fits the mould of the type of player Fox likes. Sounds like he's been interested in bringing him here for the last couple of years - hopefully turns out like the last two he waited for (Tansey and Sauce)!
I hope I'm not more excited than I should be about this signing, but I've got a good feeling about it. Importantly, I feel he really wants to be here rather than only the pay check. I think he'll be a great fit and expect him to do well

I do look at that, almost as much as any stat, how good a player will fit in the room and how much a guy actually wants to be here, true we need players with solid stats, but when you have a group of players as tight as ours the jigsaw pieces become very important on how they fit, a good team is so much more than the stats added into an excel spreadsheet.... A players stats are very important but I feel his desire to win, his grit and determination and his character are bigger than some realise. One bad apple can literally ruin an entire roster.. That's why current player recommendations mean so much when signing guys into a close knit team.. I think Foxy knows this..

Whilst not a Steelers signing, the Dogs new Finnish import was recommended by Nev. 22 years old, just had a point per game season in AlpsHL on a very average team. For context DeLuca scored at roughly 2 PPG in the same league last year.
Possibly one who could be a future steeler if he progresses and rips it up in NIHL?

It sounds like all remaining players will be announced this morning.
Of the rumoured players, Huttula was top of my list, so I'm delighted to get this one banked.
You don't play most of your professional career at the top leagues in Finland and Czech Republic if you're not a top player.
He's up and down a little where he finishes on his team in the +/-, but it's at a much higher level than EIHL. Last season he was 3rd of 7 for defencemen (of those playing 30+ games), which is more than adequate.
I wasn't convinced Fox could do it, but I think we have our replacement for Nev and he looks to be of equal quality.
Regards
