Nottingham add French-Canadian forward Kevin Domingue.

The 25yr old 6”1” Centreman has just 11 games of pro experience in the ECHL with Tulsa Oilers.

He has good numbers in Canadian University hockey (USports) however. He’s played 4 seasons for the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees good for 135 games with 154 points (88+66).

He is the all time top points & goalscorer for that team and has been named in East Division 1st all-star team twice.

I thought the Doucet interview about this signing was bizarre. We have no expectations and will just wait and see how turns out. We've had difficulty signing players from last year. Or similar words to this effect.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement for their new player!.

Must be tempted to go and get some ringers in but also would you do that and them say see ya as soon as the series is over? Clubs are better giving these guys a trial essentially to see if they can cut it at EIHL level.

Got a young promising player in, minimal pro experience, heard good things, like what I hear and player is keen to come in. You know that sort of thing.

Manchester re-sign Scott Simmonds for a 2nd season in EIHL.

The Canadian centreman, who is 6”1”, played his first pro year last season in Manchester. He played 60 games for 28 points.

The 25 year old played his previous 5 years with the University of Guelph Gryphons in the Canadian USports/CIS leagues where he played with Steelers flop Josh McFadden.

He has two first all-star team accolades in the University west division as well as winning humanitarian of the year when in the OHL.

Coventry announce the addition of speedy forward Tristan Keck.

The 5”8”, 25yr old Canadian joins from the University of Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks of the NCAA where he’s spent 4 seasons. He’s not yet iced in 20-21. This will be his first pro experience.

Nottingham add 27yr old Canadian-Italian dual-national defenceman Dominic Talbot-Tassi.

The 5”10” blueliner joins from McGill University Redbirds of the Canadian USports university league after 5 years. This will be his first pro hockey & first hockey of the 20-21 campaign.

In McGill’s division he’s been named in the 2nd All-Star team twice & 1st All-Star team once.

Coventry announce the return of 29 year old Norwegian defenceman Nicolai Brynhisveen.

Brynhisveen re-signs from Stavanager Oilers of the now cancelled Norwegian Eliteserien. He played for Coventry in 18/19 hitting 45 points in 68 games so has obvious offensive skill, also a great skater.

He has 295 appearances in his native Norway as well as 139 games experience in the Allsvenskan for sides like Asplöven HC, Timrå IK & Tingsryds AIF.

He even has some elite Euro experience in Finnish Liiga with Oulun Kärpät & in the Czech Extraliga with HC Dukla Jihlava.

Coventry announce the signing of 6”2” 220lb Norwegian defenceman Max Krogdahl.

Krogdahl is very much an unknown quantity at 22yrs of age. He joins from Frisk Asker of the now cancelled Norwegian Eliteserien where he’s spend all of his career including youth hockey.

He has 197 pro games in that league as well as a Champions Hockey League campaign. He’s a Norwegian international also.

In 18/19 he won the Norwegian title with Frisk Asker.

May joins from the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. He has 126 ECHL games on his CV for 90 points with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits & Orlando Solar Bears.

He also has a single AHL appearance for the San Diego Gulls.

He took part in the 18/19 ECHL All-Star game.

Nottingham add 5”10 centreman Nick Dineen.

The 32 year old American joins from Lillehammer of the cancelled Norwegian Eliteserien.

Dineen has an excellent record in Norway icing 240 games for Lillehammer scoring 228 points and accruing 168 PIMs.

He also has strong offensive records in the Finnish Mestis (2nd Division) with KooKoo, the Danish Metal Ligaen with SønderjyskE and the DEL2 with EC Bad Nauheim.

He was named in the Finnish Mestis 1st All-Star team in 12/13 and won the Danish title in 17/18.

A very strong signing at centre who will be a reliable producer.

The speedster joins from Norwegian Eliteserien side Storhamar IL where he’s played his entire career so far including juniors.

He has iced 199 Norwegian Eliteserien games for 66 points.

He has Champions Hockey League experience and represented Norway at U18s & U20s.
