Sounds like a typical Ne'er Day game in the Storm Shelter, plenty of goals in both nets.
Two important points though....

Watched the stream. Three skates past the blue line and you hit the back boards. No space for anyone. Happy to get the 2 points. Tricky game that one.

One of, if not the hardest rink to play at in the EIHL in my opinion, visited it once and didn't like the place as a venue either, to me a win in Manchester is a very good result, Manchester are not a great side but are very hard to beat by anyone in that place, if they ever build a decent team other teams will have to watched out as it could be a fortress..

First time I've watched a game in Altrincham.
It's certainly very different to games in the big rinks. Manchester know how to play it and that caused us issues, but I thought we generally dominated territorially and deserved the win.
Like others I had issues with the stream in the first 10 minutes, but it was fine after that.
A big win which keeps the streak going.
I still think Belfast will be the big threat, so it's good that we've got a bit of a gap on them.

Great result. Any time you can get a result in that rink is great, never as easy as it is when they’re the away side.

Games there are a big challenge for sure, and it seems we just managed to avoid a banana skin moment looking at the scoreline.

I guarantee you that some teams are yet to go to storm this season and get unexpectedly turned over on that ice, they have a proper home ice advantage.. Watching the game you get an appreciation on how tight that rink is compared to most, playing in it every week as to be an advantage..
