Poor period for the Steelers.

Panthers could easily be 3-0 up if it wasn’t for Duba.

Big improvement needed for the 2nd. Panthers came out on fire.

Dreadful from us so far. Completely asleep at the back, I counted six turnovers, three leading to 1-on-0 chances. Passing astray and very meek on the attack.

Keep saying that we don’t have a championship defence but our scoring power varnishes it

Typical high octane start from the Panthers. Seems to be a trend for them - we often grow into games.
Hoping we can hang in until we decide to move up the gears

I think we are seeing the value of the missing Hrabal tonight. The D are having a mare. Tousignant was in front of Duba completely unchallenged for the Talbot goal.
Duba pass marks. Kept us in the game so far. Everyone else needs to buck up by 50%

I think we are in danger of not giving opposition teams enough credit, the Panthers came out on fire and we weathered the storm.. The goalie is part of the defence, without a decent (not good by any stretch of the imagination) defence at times in that 1st period we would have been 3 or 4-0 down, we're are not out of this game by a long way yet..
2 periods to turn it around, we have come back from much worse..

Panthers superior in every aspect of the game and we are lucky to be only 1 down.

We have to earn the right to compete in this game and in the first we didn't do that. AF earns his money right now.
