We dominated the play, but fail to turn chances into goals.

Our powerplay.....the less said the better.

Expected a close game and that’s exactly what we got. Don’t have any worries for tomorrow. Storm are poor on big ice.

Probably one of our better first 40, but shy of a couple of goals. Weak last period with Petgrave, Nevalainen on the ice for both goals. Thought greener should have done better for the first and Connolly was lazy back checking for the second.
Will call out the leadership and leaders again. Where was it in that third period. The lack of finishing 5 on 5 and the abysmal pp has completely finished our season. We may get through tomorrow but if do so will lose in our semi.
Makes tomorrow interesting for sure.

This team dosnt inspire me in any way at all, same as any team hasnt under aarons charge. As said we may still progress but a case of papering over cracks

You’re right there.

But even under Fox I can’t see Storm beating us at home. 2018 was the last time they did.

Storm came into the SSE and won both games on a double header weekend, still fancy Steelers on home ice but thought the same against Fife in the challenge cup.
