And appear to have confirmed that we have remaining signings to announce and didn't mention waiting on any.House_of_Steel wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 11:41 amExtremely coincidental seen as though the club stated the signing of the said player would be yesterday or today
I'd say it's better than 50/50 it's Lessio

As mentioned earlier, Lessio has similar stats to Fretter before he joined us and I think we'd all be happy to take a player of that calibre.
A good experienced pro capable of 25 goals on the top line works for me. Looking at his stats last season and they were decent rather than spectacular, but the season before they were definitely spectacular with him being comfortably top scorer on his DEL team (joint 4th in the league).
On paper a line of Lessio/Watling/Vallerand looks like a proper 1st line.
Fingers crossed.

Not the correct thread but I’ll jot it down anyway
I’ve got the goals based on the rumoured and signed players for the season, I’m not going to name players individually just collectively. I have us at thus follows….
Low end 211 goals
Average 225
High end 238 (conservative high end)

Belfast scored 231 goals last year, so I’d say we’re there or thereabouts. I haven’t made a prediction on this years squad but Conway definitely tipped the scales for them last year.
I've got Belfast slightly ahead of us with 217.
If we do complete our lineup as suggested, my view is that Belfast have slightly more in attack, we look better in defence and Belfast edge the netminding.
It looks very close which is how you'd want it. For me Belfast aren't quite as strong as they were and we look better than last season (all assuming Lassio, Allen and Juusola).
There is of course also Nottingham and Cardiff to consider, with both clubs looking like they're upping their game.
