Big two points but it should have been all over before OT! thought we were the better team for most parts? Nottingham very lucky with their second goal, not sure I agree with the comments about Pearson? I was struggling to find him for most parts of the game? he did great for the tip in but can't say there was much more to his game.
Most important thing to come from the game was, Nottingham are not as good team a the league position shows, not saying we are better but it does demonstrate how tight the league is going to be this year!
If we defend like we did/can for the rest of the season, stay injury free and be better in the FO circle we should be ok!
Agreed with that - for me it comes down to the goalies again - someone will quote me and prove me wrong (I usually put my foot in it…) but my notional recollection looking at stats before the last away game to Nott is they don’t seem to be as high scoring as other teams, so without a “stand on his head every night” goalie they are going to be vulnerable and not making up for it at the other end of the ice.

Having said that, they are second so they can’t be doing that bad 😂

Notts have scored 61 goals from 15 games (4.07/game)
Steelers 57 from 16 (3.56)
Belfast 42 from 13 (3.23)
Cardiff 60 from 16 (3.75)

I suspect you may have got Belfast and Notts mixed up. Notts are scoring at a very healthy rate, with Pearson, Armour, Fossier and Harris all scoring at around 30 goal/season pace.

We only have Balmas scoring at that rate.
