Fox pretty much called it as I saw it in that interview.

We finally decided to stand up to the bullies a bit and it helped. I’m still not convinced we don’t need some more toughness, someone who will step up and face the bullies down though. The Refs are not going to protect us. They let someone slash and whack at one of our player’s heels with no penalty.

Hopefully Balmas’ injury is not too severe. We’ll miss him.

Is third man in still a penalty ? As Busch seemed to be making it his raison d'etre, unchallenged by the refs or our players.

Another game where we were outmuscled, lacked urgency/intensity and physicality until the 3rd period and look how much better we were then.

Didn't see this game, but this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

It just a copy and paste of Fox's last two seasons/teams for me.

Another superb crowd though of 8,100+ which is amazing for a Sunday, so I am very much in the minority of not enjoying the hockey.

We ice the puck far too much and then lose the face off in our own zone, giving the opponents possession. We do not shoot anywhere near enough. Far too much passing in front of the net rather than taking a shot. That is what Guildford and Panthers did and it paid results. Lack of intensity over both games. Only really Tait, Jasper and to an extent Cormier step up. We are short of enough genuine goal scorers and players who will show and respond to aggression. Lots to do to make this team true contenders. Hopefully Foxy and the team can respond.

From my point of view, the first was a fairly even contest, the second we were dire from the start and the third we started playing the way we can which put us right back in in. We did really well to survive OT before snatching the two points in penalties.

Going back to the second, at that stage I thought we were out of it and even a point seemed out of reach. Our first goal in the third gave us belief which was great, yet why did we leave it so long before playing like we obviously can?
