Good player and prized possession as a Brit but he didn't have his best season in 19-20 and the club has every right to build a team for the best interests of the club - one player does not make a team.
Fair play to Fox for making a difficult call. Best of luck to BOC regardless of where he ends up.

In the latest In Conversation With Podcast I talk to Great Britain defenceman Ben O’Connor. We discuss his release by Sheffield Steelers, his hockey career, the rise of the Great Britain national team and what the future holds for him in hockey and beyond.
It’s an incredibly open and honest account from Ben that is a must listen.

Excellent interview Jono. Thought Benny came across as very professional regarding his release, and gave quite an insight as to the mechanics of it.Jono72 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 1:01 pmIn the latest In Conversation With Podcast I talk to Great Britain defenceman Ben O’Connor. Just one question for you JB: would you like to see Ben in a Panthers shirt next season?
Thanks for the comments regarding the interview. I’d be very happy if BOC was in black & gold next season.raetiamann wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 8:21 pmExcellent interview Jono. I am tempted to go to the bookies and ask them what odds they're gonna offer me for this.

The Star are trying their best to keep the bad blood story going aren't they? It seems to me Ben took gamble on Aaron Fox not sticking to his word on the deadline and it didn't pay off. At the end of the day coach recruiting a team has to do what he sees best for the club and not base his decisions on sentiment.
