Steelers win 3–1, very much needed with all the sides around us winning.

Brust deservedly mom., vallerand a close second….what we were doing first period I’ve no idea but made up for it in third…tomorrow might be feisty…blaze seems fired up.

Yes, Barry certainly deserved the shutout. The main reason I went to todays game is that I was hoping Coventry would be feisty.

Barry had to look after himself as not one of our players went to sort the Coventry player out after Barry was tripped or run into.

Good result, Brust deserved the shutout, a few decent individual performances but it was all fairly pedestrian. A nice play for the third goal buy apart from that there wasn't much flair hockey or proper intensity/feistiness.
Getting the W's but it's all a bit meh. Tomorrow may be a bit feisty on away ice. Blaze like to dish it but not keen on getting it back.

Coventry are a horrible team to play against. They know their netminder is key and do everything they can to protect him, which usually means lots of bodies in front of the net.

For us I thought Barry deserved mom, closely followed by Vallerand.

A potential banana skin, but we got past quite comfortably in the end. More of the same tomorrow please.

Barry is definitely a fan fav and to post a save % of 96.88. After all the doubts. Got to admit I was one of them.

Good to get the W but boy was that a slog.

1st period was in slow motion at times , honestly our forwards couldn't hit water if they fell out a boat!

Got better as the game went on but turnovers and tacky minors could have been our undoing.

Expecting a bit of a struggle tomorrow.

Watched on webcast last night. I agree with several previous posters the first period was a terrible watch to be honest, thought about wrapping some Christmas presents up it was that bad. Started to improve from the 2nd Aaron’s face at the end of the 1st said it all. I’m starting to warm to Brust his save when Coventry were 2 on 1 was pure class. Silly minor penalties will cost us against the likes of Belfast and Cardiff, needs nipping in the bud we got away with it in the end! I still think we need someone to help Vally out with the scoring element of our game we can’t rely on lower line players stepping up all season to win the league. All in all a decent win, hope we can get something out of tonight’s game.
