That'll do folks.

Sheffield Steelers 6-0 Fife Flyers

A 3rd shutout of the season for Greenfield, another 4 point weekend, 11 goals scored with just the 2 against.

Fantastic, well played boys, now to rest up.

Ha ha its funny I just went to look at match stats, saw that and was going to post the same. Unbelievable stats in one match from the least flashy guy on the team.
Good first period, poor second period then great third as flyers over committed/got desperate/came up against Greenfield as they chased the game.

Best netminder we've had for ages, and probably the first true first line in Ciampini, Allen and Neumann we've had for a long time.
The Latal, Kristo and Dowd line looked promising too.

Belfast come back from 4-1 down to win 4-5 in Coventry, excellent result for them.

After the success of Saturday in Cardiff it was important for us to keep the momentum going and get another vital 2 league points.

Regardless of the uninspiring second period we started well and finished very strong once we had worn down the Flyers, the goals started to fly in.

We took our chances well and the scoring being split between 6 different players is always good to see, nice to see Kristo get his first and Ciampini continue from his double on Saturday night in Cardiff. McNally is putting together a good run of performances too, his stats are pretty good to say he doesn't get much PP time.

Good to see Raska get his points going again over the weekend after a few quieter games (for him), I wasn't surprised to see him on the wing as Pitule is a solid center for us and it allows Raska the chance to play with a bit more freedom. We look solid in defense and Greenfield continues to impress night in night out.

The PK was awesome and grabbed 2 goals as well (Ciampini and Allen link up highlighted again here!)

Good to see us on a good run whilst still changing the middle 6 forwards again. I can see Kristo remaining in the top 6, he looks very good with the puck and has been unfortunate not to have had a few more goals and points so far. He, Dowd and Latal looked good on a line together and the Raska-Pitule-McNally line also looked to work well. It will be interesting to see what Wednesday's lines look like with the potential of Mitchell coming in for Piche (who travels back to Prague to meet his new daughter) and how we line up, I suspect we go with 13 forwards and 5 defenceman and rotate Mitchell in where we can.
