I'm putting it out there now - he'll be our top points producer this season.

Came searching for this comment! Still early days but looking good. Still can’t believe people were saying don’t re sign him.

Long long way to go yet but the guys he's playing with is a big upgrade on last season, plus he was injured when he arrived, he's thriving at the moment & long may it continue, the guy is a class act, he's scored goals for fun in the EIHL - it stuns me that folk even wrote him off.....

His stats at the moment are :

Challenge Cup : 3 Games : 3 Goals/5 Assists - 8 points

EIHL : 6 Games : 2 Goals/5 Assists - 7 points.

Just to point out, He wasn't Injured when he arrived. He was actually hit in the face by the puck in the very first training session, fractured jaw/cheekbone and suspected concussion, he passed concussion protocols, but he wore a bubble for 2/3 games due to the broken/fractured jaw.. and missed one game for a follow up hospital appointment that was planned... he was not injured in a warm-up to a game or in a game.. and he arrived 100% fit, it was just an unfortunate set of circumstances entirely out of the players own control...

I’m happy to admit that I was in the not sure/risky signing camp.

Couldn’t be more happier to be proved wrong so far.

If he can stay injury free, he could be a very important player down the stretch.

Thought I would update the thread on how Sir Marco Olivier Vallerand has been doing since my last update.

In the Challenge Cup his stats are :

Games Played : 10

Goals : 6

Assists : 7

Total Points : 13

With the CC Final to come......

In the Elite League :

Games Played : 34

Goals : 14

Assists : 21

Total Points 35

In the League he is currently just outside the top 10 in 11th position for points scored.

His Overall Record for the Season 2023/24 :

Games Played : 44

Goals : 20

Assists : 28

Total Points : 48
