I think there is another issue here. It’s to do with how we go about games. if you look at the goals Fife scored they had a pattern to them. We had a two goal lead and yet we allowed ourselves to get stretched, activate both D and were vulnerable to a breakaway. This is made more likely by dangerous cross ice passes in a crowded offensive area that easily get intercepted. I have seen this for some time. I feel it is an inability or an unwillingness to play to the situation. Yes we want more goals but not to the extent that we risk giving easy ones away to a side that is clearly struggling to score. OK so we turned it on again and regained the two goal lead but it just felt unnecessary. But what do I know I don’t play the game.!

Very pleased to get the win and keep our 100% away record, but I do get the concerns from some of our supporters.

Because of the way we've fallen away the last two seasons under Fox, it's only natural that supporters will be looking for signs of it happening again.....I know I am.

If I recall correctly it was our away form last season which kept us ahead of the pack, once that started to stutter we fell well off the pace. There is a similar pattern emerging this year, with our away form being exceptional but our home form stuttering a bit.

I do believe we have a team with a bit more of a backbone this season and more individual talent, however that doesn't mean I won't be getting concerned if I see any signs of a wobble like last year.

I do think it's worth pointing out that although Saturday and Sunday were a bit of a struggle, we did go to Manchester on Thursday and destroy them on their own ice, which isn't any mean feat.

I remain cautiously optimistic, but it would be nice to see us put on another 'show' in front of our home fans this weekend, rather than struggle through, although the 2 points is all that really matters to me.

I think we are starting to struggle more because we have lost the balance we had in the defence. Early doors we were much more physical in our d zone and were getting quick puck possession and exits accordingly. Losing Petgrave and Jones, despite the excellent player in Cormier (hes not a like replacement), the good form of Shudra when asked to play in D, it just isn't the same in our d zone. Makes it even more odd and puzzling for me that we signed Vinnel.
