Correct on the import concerns, they both have very poor +/- stats.

On a positive note Olden and Danielsen look outstanding signings.

I've just been on a WhatsApp with my mates and the guy who does all the stats has Nottinghsm down as top scorers, slightly ahead of us. We look stronger defensively though, so it should be a good match up.

I tried to register as Doom and it wouldn't let me.

I thought I'd see if I could get in with a different name and I was watching Bond at the time, hence Octopussy.

Anybody know how the revenue generated from this tournament is split up?

Is it an equal 25% each regardless of the numbers buying the webcast or do Sheffield get all their webcast money, Nottingham get all theirs etc etc?

This is an extract from the press release announcing funding.

“The four English clubs from the Elite Ice Hockey League that will contest the Elite Series, Coventry Blaze, Manchester Storm, Nottingham Panthers and Sheffield Steelers, will receive support in the form of both grants and loans totalling £2.3 million.”

The extra 400k of the 2.7m total goes to lower leagues.

I’d assume some of that will cover the lost playoff revenue and final few league crowds from last year too. The breakdown of loan-to-grant ratio isn’t public from what I can see.

Sondre Olden has signed in the Swiss League (2nd division) for the 21/22 season.

He will turn out for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds.
