Well, I’ve never rated this cup competition. I always saw it as a fixture filling inconvenience as opposed to the league and playoffs. However.......it does feel good to win it! The look on everyone’s faces speaks volumes. Well done everyone to do with the club, safe journeys home to all the fans, let’s let this performance set the tone for the rest of the season. Let’s go Steelers!

The first period I thought we were very very good which was reflected in the scoreline... The Second we fought hard and played well, but Cardiff started to show their class. Then the third the livestream went to pot so I have no idea in all honesty!

Awesome first - eberle hit on Myers (god knows why that was a penalty)
Backs against wall in second, hanging on at times, Cardiff double shifted their top line, hauled them back into it
Controlled third, got the banker goal and hung on to a very
Protracted end!

Nice! I was watching Martin St. Pierre get a hattrick of assists past a Dan Ceman coached team, after that I knew anything was possible
