No hype needed, not even the inevitable tired and recycled cliches from Steelers media. This is 1st v 2nd, nothing else is needed.

Missing this unfortunately as I'll not be in the country, but this is a real chance to build on last weekend and take 2 points off a title rival.
Luckily, whatever the result, I'll be distinctly well oiled when I get the flashscore notification

As its a home game i am expecting a home victory,,,,, usually a tame affair , not long back at home i think there was no penalty minutes all match,,,, imagine that back in the day rather watch the games against belfast, manchester these days,,

Quite looking forward to this one, which isn't typical over the last few seasons against the Panthers.
I always think a strong Steelers and Panthers teams makes the league better, even though I think the league this season is poor at best.
A statement win here would be the ideal scenario.
A close game though is the likely result I would have thought.
3-2 Steelers SOG.

It's looking like it will be close to a sellout, which is always good to see.
I hope the game is as good as the one last week, which was a very tight contest between two evenly matched teams.
On paper i think Panthers slightly edge us in the forward department, although unlike Belfast, they don't have much of a 4th line.
I mentioned it in the previous thread, but I think we lack a genuine 1st line centre. Pu for me would be a very good 3rd line player, a bit like Nicholls was for us, but I just don't see him putting up the numbers you'd want from a 1st line centre.
I can't see us bringing in a top end centre though, so we'll just have to make the best of what we have......which to be fair, isn't bad.
I wouldn't like to make a prediction in this one, but if we play as we did last weekend we have a decent chance of picking up the points.
I do fancy the Panthers for the title this year, but it's a long season and a couple of key injuries could change everything. Unlike Belfast, I think Panthers are probably more reliant on one or two key players.
Hopefully an enjoyable evening with Steelers supporters heading home with a smile on their faces.
Regards
Doom

Hoping that it is a good game, with us playing to the level in quality, passion and physicality that we did in the Storm game.
Hugely disappointed to see we are going into the game light on the fourth line again. When will the coach do the right thing and continue to roll 4 full lines on regular basis.

Saw that and came off at 33 (Sheffield parkway) and that was ok for anyone still on the move.
