As suspected Ben leaves the club following being unable to agree terms

I know it won’t be a popular opinion but I’m quite pleased with this news.
Ben really looked to be struggling to keep up with the level of play the last few years

Sad. But hey there are plenty more offence D men. Best wishes to him. Guildford bound...

Especially if he was after more £, he can't command higher wages on his performance.
Will be a solid addition to any EIHL side who wants to fork out though.

I'd agree. Over the last couple of seasons he got slower and lost much of his offensive threat. If he was still commanding a big wage, then I think it's the best call for both parties. Good luck Ben and the club moves on.

I'll be sad to see him go, but think it's probably the best for all sides.
It feels a bit like the Ed Courtenay departure. We lose a player who isn't at his best in defence, but is highly skilled and puts up big numbers. Those numbers come with a hefty price tag, but if Fox, like Blaiser before him, thinks he can improve the squad by spreading that money around, I'm all for it.
Thanks Ben and good luck for the future.
Regards
Doom

Really sorry to see him go but he wasn't playing at his peak anymore so an increase in wages seemed unlikely. He will still be a big attraction to other teams, but they will need a big budget to keep up with him. Cardiff or Guildford seems to be the best bet for me.
Good luck Ben and thank you for the memories. .
