Hi everyone, for a bit of fun I thought I would invent a drinking game to help us through the world championships!

Commentary from Aaron Murphy:

1 Drink every time Murph:

- Refers to a period as a stanza
- Quotes the exact number of AHL games a player has played
- Refers to a GB player as "such a great guy"
- Reminds us there's no relegation this year
- "Former (insert NHL team) draft pick"

2 Drinks:

"All over him like a cheap suit"
"Knocked to the ice unceremoniously"
"Tough as a night in jail"

3 Drinks:

"Pitter patter let's get at her!"
"Up top shelf where you keep the good whisky"

Events during the game:

1 Drink:

- For every penalty minute assessed
- Every time Bowns bails us out!
- Every scrum after a whistle

3 Drinks:

- Goal scored against GB
- Any bad jokes about social distancing during a scrum
- One of the commentators disagrees with a call against GB
- Swearing gets picked up on the refs mic
- You find yourself missing the Barmy Army

Bonus!!! Down your drink if:

- Great Britain score!!!
- Tony Hand's name gets mentioned for any reason
- Murph refers to Newfoundland as "God's country"
- The players start singing "we're ---- and we know we are!"


(By the way, this is not meant to be a knock on Aaron Murphy at all, I actually really enjoy his commentary and love his passion for GB!)
