As above, never easy in a building with variable ice conditions & a small pad. Not as much size as usual in a Finnerty side but whoever he signs will be required to play hard.
Todd, Hodgman, DeLuca, Schulze & Brust all sound like they’re ready to slot back in, Saxrud-Danielsen also back after his ban.

This will be tough.
Storm pushed Cardiff to OT in the Shelter last Sunday, so we have to be prepared for a hard assignment. If we can come out of this with a win and no injuries then that will be mission accomplished.

Steelers Team News:
Rok Stojanovič starts. Cole Shudra makes the roster in place of Daine Todd who I guess hasn’t recovered.

Seen a few comments about Brust and his fitness. He certainly doesn't look a prototype Fox player but can you get away with that as a netminder to a degree?
Maybe shows why a quick move to bring Stoyanovic was made.
I'm already concerned about Todd. I know it's very early doors but the only reason we got him was because of his recent injury record which has been poor. Not much good signing him for him never to play! Anyway as I say obviously early doors and hope he will be back on the team sheet soon.
I think we are better equipped to deal with Finnerty's Goons as Ellerby, ASD, Sam Jones won't stand for any messing.
Hopefully chalk up a win in first serious game of the year.

That's disappointing.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 4:37 pmSteelers Team News:

Is Brust out of condition or picked up an injury?
I hope Todd isn't going to be injury prone, because I did like what I saw in Nottingham.
