Mike Mawer Appointed Head of Strength and Conditioning.

Mike Mawer, brother of former S&C lead Danny Mawer, has joined the club as Head of S&C on a deal until the end of 22/23.

He has hockey experience, having played in the lower divisions for the likes of Sheffield Senators and Widnes Wild.

Our two Sheffield Hallam University interns will stay on and support Mike whilst also learning from him to further their development.

They could also use him as a 50/50 and SOYB seller seeing as how they are losing match night volunteers quicker than Boris is losing credibility. Something is not right behind the scenes.

Our fitness and energy well into the third period seems to be really good this year. really noticeable against High energy sides like Guildford we often outlast them and take the win late on in the third or in OT.
