Can’t see this being a very big crowd for this. Not fair for the season ticket holders. Mid-week games can be difficult to make for many.

4-1 Steelers.

Definitely not a good decision for some of us season ticket holders.

Wonder if Barry will get the start here?

Rok has been totally dialled in recently but I would have thought this would be a game Coach will want him to start in?

Having said that I thought he would have played in Dundee...

Yeah I thought Barry would play in Dundee as well. Although Rok played really well against the Panthers and was my MOM so can understand why Fox went with him again.

Barry really needs to play this one I think, or he could lose match fitness. Important that if we’re still rolling with 2 import goalies.

Our game in hand on Belfast currently - a huge chance to be 5 points clear of them and 2 clear of Cardiff with 3 games in hand over them (after Wednesday)

I would expect to see Barry start this one but Fox did say some time ago that he'd find his number one and he'd role with the hot goalie for the majority, which on recent outings appears to be Rok, maybe Barry against the Flyers on either Saturday or Sunday with Rok starting the other.

Hopeful we could see ASD return for this one, that would be a massive plus for us, but would mean we'd have to sit someone and play one of Brust/Rok due to import numbers.

I'd love to see:

Latal-Polak-Vallerand
Eberle-Hodgman-Dowd
Sointu-Armstrong-Mosey
Traversa-ROTATE-Jono

ASD-Todd
Schulze-Davey
Ellerby-Jones

Rok/Brust
Warburton

This would seem extremely harsh on Alex Graham who I guess would be the one to miss out?? Such a poor rule that denies us of rolling 4 lines all season long.
A 4th unit of Traversa-Jono-Graham would be a good energy unit for us.

Going to be a tough one against an inform Clan side, but I'm confident we will respond well to Sunday's defeat.

The problem with that being if your hot netminder gets injured we're back to a rusty Brust playing catch up again, admittedly without the previous equipment issues.

Gotta trust Coach though.

He is or should I say could be/should be the better netminder. His techniques and positional play are much better when he is on it.. and his career and CV and proven record go a way to prove that.. as well as those highlight reels. The trouble is I think we got Barry Brust about 2 years to late... and we need consistency.. Rok has been more consistent in his play but has given away a few bizarre goals. (nothing you can't forgive) Barry's shutouts were a master class, I would say he is playing through some issues still, fitness or injury or just maybe the bones slowing down with time, but the netminder brain is still very much there... :surprise:
