Play Off Weekend Info

Ticket information for the Play off Weekend in Nottingham....
Steelers tickets available from the 27th January, priced just under £90 for an adult weekend early bird ticket, and just over £100 after 9th of March
Steelers fans are allocated in blocks 9, 10 and 11, so the opposite end to where the usual away blocks are.

Won't be able to make this unfortunately. I'd like to think we could make it this year. Looks like we're in behind the goal opposite the stage end.

Just shows that the fan base are excited at the prospect of actually watching a competitive Steelers team make the PO Final weekend! Last year I was able to walk up to the desk and book our seats! This year year I queued for 1 hour 20 minutes and missed the whole first period for them!

I managed to get tickets online this morning just after they went on sale. 5 minutes later they had single seats only. Just checked again and they seem to have sold out our blocks.

I saw a post last night that there are only 400 tickets left in total. They'll need a bigger venue soon

According to Twitter, the tickets allocated to Steelers fans for the play offs have now sold out....
However, due to high levels of interest from fans, Block 19 will be going on sale to Steelers fans tomorrow morning (05/02/20 - 9am)

I am a fan of the play offs in Nottingham, I think it’s a great location and has created a great weekend for hockey fans.
However, I think that now is the time for the league to think seriously about finding a venue that can accommodate more fans. I am not sure what the options would be though.
We could host in Sheffield but if we did then, for me, they will need to look at creating a fanzine - perhaps at the Don valley bowl. The joy of the play offs is mixing with other fans - Nottingham’s city centre location helps this. The facilities around the arena aren’t really set up to support this type of atmosphere.
Maybe Birmingham or Manchester could host? Not sure if they have the ice facilities though.

Apparently Manchester does still have it's own Ice plant. Lower bowl is about 10.5k. Could sell that first to each of the clubs then think about opening the upper blocks when lower sells out or lower the cost and sell more tickets.
Don't know about Birmingham but London would be cost prohibitive for too many fans to make it viable. Sheffield isn't a big enough jump in capacity and as much as i'd like to save the hotel bills there would need to be a major fan park on the bowl to make it viable. the Noose and other pubs around the arena already struggle when there is a big crowd
