Panthers away after a split points total last weekend, can we carry on and gain some momentum. :hey:

Game Night Poll Panthers v Steelers, this will be interesting to forecast!

4 people got it right last Saturday, thats just 11% of the 36 votes called a Steelers win in regulation... :wonder:
78% went for another giants win!
Compared that to 35 people on the friday (69%) out of 51 votes.

Stats, that go some way to show that its very hard to judge form from one game to the next..

I've gone for a Steelers win in regulation.. I think a very close game again with the odd goal deciding it...

Steelers win in regulation. Panthers are an average side at best and poor by Panther standards.

5-2 Steelers.

We played very well on Saturday, and deserved the win big time, but I fear the team is so banged up it will have took a lot out of us... and 5 days isn't a lot of time to have us back to full fitness. I am hoping they get 3 days off, Sunday,Monday,Tuesday I think the team need it.. :hockey:

:hey: I have literally no idea what to think about this game.

It could be any permutation of any type of result.

I'm gonna wait until we're on our way down there before I predict anything.

We definitely needed the win on Saturday not just to stay close in terms of points but also to rectify our dip in form recently and we certainly did that - we definitely need a couple of days to recover I'm sure (fans and players :D )

Hopefully no new injuries and Mosey is just a knock and will be straight back in on Saturday - I think we will continue the momentum and take the 2 points, never easy in Nottingham regardless of form but I think we have turned a corner with what we witnessed Saturday.

I'm going for a 5-3 Steelers win!

If we have a full roster I hope Whistle is picked in front of the likes of Traversa.

Whistle deserves a regular starting role now, he is making a difference.

He has certainly done enough to warrant a starting role for me too, lots of work rate and some skill and finishing to go with it.

I like Traversa's work rate too, difficult to get everyone into the lineup now we have the short term injured players back. There are probably a couple who are behind or close to being behind Whistle in the pecking order especially going on current form.

If we could inject Traversa’s passion and workrate into everyone else we’d be all but unstoppable but he falls short in terms of skill himself.

Traversa is a top man and I thought his message to the players that I heard about even though he'd been scratched was excellent. Unfortunately with a smaller squad of only 19 he doesn't quite get ahead of Whistle for me now in terms of outright ability, however his work ethic and attitude should be admired. There's a few players that could learn a thing or two from Traversa in terms of work ethic and professional attitude, even non-hockey players E:p

Looks like we've sold out our 2 allocated blocks and moving into block 3 now - should be a good atmosphere.

Must win game, it's sure to be entertaining, no chance of these games ever being easy.
