According to the Star Aaron Fox has made it clear that Barry is not returning this season , ending speculation on social media that he was re-signing ( Do they mean us ? They surely do ! )
New import goalie probably announced Wednesday.

I thought it was the 3 forwards wednesday.. oh and speculation from us was only as a response from twitter rumour accounts, no members claimed to know...

I've made my feelings known regarding Brust, but I'd like to thank him for his efforts and I wish him well for his future.

Can't say I'm shocked about this to be honest, he showed glimpses of his pedigree but unfortunately not enough consistently and his injuries were an issue.
3 new forwards Wednesday - also, sounds like we've only signed 1 import goalie so far, with Warburton and McLaughlin likely to back-up until we get another import.

My comment was a joke, however I do use the word speculation and there has certainly been that here. I never claimed our members knew.

I'd say thanks to Barry for his services, would loved to have seen him at his very best but he would have been out of our price range at the time. As for whether the comments are a pop at us? , at a guess if the source was the steelers media then probably as this forum has lived rent free in their heads for many years and will do for many more, if it was from BW then I just smile and say thanks for providing something that cured my insomnia, his book "Lord of the Rinks", although I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who suffers from depression, if they do I'd recommend "A game of three halves" by Liam Sluyter as it is hysterical as well as accurate.

I wasn't having a go @Brian It was more of a response to the star article than anything you said..
I quoted your post only to highlight the story..

That’s no problem Jay. I think Mark makes a very good point in that certain club high ups think we get a free ride Steelers wise. But a bit of speculation is great especially off season. It makes the forum interesting to read as not much is going on and the Club knows all the signings but deign to trickle them out one by one , no idea why. If it’s to fool Belfast and Cardiff, by the last few years results it ain't working !

It is the 3 forwards on Weds, netminder announcements will be made at a later date whoever they may be

Would have been great 5 years ago but at his age, his size and then the year or so out where he obviously wasn't training it was several steps too far. Quite frankly should have been binned when arrived so unfit. Never looked as if he was too enamoured to be here.
I'm delighted that common sense prevails.
