2:3 after first leg...

The first of 3 games in a row against Fife 15th, 18th and 19th :peek:

2nd leg of the challenge cup Semi Final down by one goal...

I presume we go to OT and Penalties if we are level :hey:

One would presume, however, this being the EIHL I wouldn't be surprised if there is a stipulated rule saying in the event of a tie the winner will be decided by a game of Hungry Hippos.

Whilst we should easily win this game. we will need to bring our A game here. We've struggled to break down defensive teams in the arena.

Final in Belfast on a Wednesday evening, nice and easy for the away fans to get to.

Below taken from the EIHL website. Pretty sure Hungry Hippos will be added as an option next year @Nathan :D

All games in the Quarter- and Semi-Finals are aggregate-scoring, home and away series. Overtime will only be played if the score is tied on aggregate after 60 minutes have been played in the return leg. In both stages, the option of home-ice advantage for the return leg will be given to the higher-seeded team.

In the Semi-Finals, the highest remaining seed plays the lowest remaining seed for the first pairing; and the two remaining teams play in the second pairing.

Looks like another sell out too. Fantastic news for the club and for Dick Turpin running the catering at the arena.

Shame the hockey’s a dire watch (IMO).

I wouldn't be too bothered if we lost this and took the 4 points at the weekend against them.
Challenge cup means very little to me.

Having said that I will most likely be there on Wednesday, still waiting for this team to turn up for a full 60mins.

To clarify is this on our Season tickets now?

According to the Steelers website the game is not a season ticket game.

No, the original game was an £8 ticket.
They then changed it to the Semi-Final, which meant the Season Ticket holders couldn’t book their seats as they have gone.
Steelers made the rearranged date an additional Season Ticket game, but it is a mid-week on a school night so we probably won’t be going.
