I’ll be completely honest (selfishly), I’m glad I’ve not had to witness such a terrible incident.

It must be terrible for everyone involved especially the player that ran into him.

We have to focus on the positives as it sounds like medical aid was there very, very quickly. The Northern General hospital is only minutes away too.

I personally don't know if I want the season to be cancelled fully after witnessing that tonight, horrible horrific scenes. The challenge Cup should be cancelled at least. Yes it's a physical sport but nobody needs to see that, let's just hope and pray for Adam Johnson and send some love to Petgrave too

Unfortunately the news does not sound good. Still waiting for some news from the club which should come soon but plenty of family members posting the very sad news that Adam has passed away. We are numb with shock.

Absolutely devastating news.

The Elite League has shown respect in cancelling all Elite Leagues games today. This a time fir us all to reflect on exactly what these players put themselves through and the potential risks in the game. Such a sad, sad time for everyone engaged in the sport.
