Tough place to go and get a result, we must win to keep title chances alive, hopefully Panthers can do us a favour and beat the Devils on Saturday.
Again if we can keep the momentum and style we played this weekend I can see another 4pt weekend ahead, anything except 100% effort against the Flames at home will be tough to get a result as they have proved they can beat anyone in their rink.

Certainly need a much better defensive effort than last time! If and it definitely is an if, Cardiff win their 3 games in hand, they will just be the 1 point in front so still not over. Especially with 2 games between the teams that will likely decide the title.JoeySlats#13 wrote:Tough place to go and get a result, we must win to keep title chances alive, hopefully Panthers can do us a favour and beat the Devils on Saturday.

If Cardiff win their 3 games in hand they go 5 clear of Sheffield. They’re 1 point behind with 3 games in hand on you guys.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 11:46 amCertainly need a much better defensive effort than last time! maths isn't my strongest attribute lol. Especially as I predicted Devils to do the slam on another thread. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

But I follow the logic @SteelerBlade is going with..... Cardiff have 11 games remaining, and can get 22 points from those, which would give them 82 points with a win out to the end of the season.
If Steelers win out to the end of the season, (8 games x 2 points), 61 + 16 = 77 points at the end of the season.
2 of those games are against Cardiff, so Steelers would be on 77, and Cardiffs maximum possible points would then be 78 (assuming regulation wins). So from that perspective, if Cardiff drop a single point in any of their non-Steelers games, it would all be to play for.

A real hard road trip against a team that could surprise anyone.
We need to turn in a polished away trip again to stay in the hunt.
