Firstly, what a win last night! (I watched it on TV)
I'm bringing my little boy (4) and wife to the game next Sunday at home to Guildford. It will be his first game (I promise I booked tickets before the cup final win last night
- not jumping on the bandwagon!)Back in my teens I was a season ticket regular, but in more recent times I tend to only get a handful of game in per season. So much so that I feel a bit 'out of the loop'.
In terms of making the most out of his first game, I'd love to get your advice. A few things that spring to mind:
- Can I get him a shoutout on the big screen? (any tips on coordinating this?)
- Jersey - Is there likely to be an end of season price drop in the near future? I don't want to spend £55 on this season's if they usually drop the pricing near the end-of-season.
- Pre-game - Are there any areas / pre-game activities for kids on the day? I'm just wondering if there is value in getting there early
Sorry, I know some of these questions might be basic but I just want him to have the best experience possible on-the-day.
