This might be a stressful evening.

So it all comes down to this.
A very tough place to go and even if we do win we're relying on our neighbours to do us a favour.
Hopefully we'll start much better than we did last night, otherwise we're in trouble.
I wonder if we'll effectively play 3 line hockey again or whether Fox will give Shudra and Ulrick more ice time.
It's good to be still in it on the last day, but frustrating looking back and thinking what could have been. We'd have probably had it wrapped up a few weeks ago without the CHL, although there is the argument that some of the players wouldn't have returned without the CHL carrot.
Let's get the job done tonight and hope for a favour from our nearest and dearest, whom I assume won't want Belfast celebrating on their ice.
Regards
Doom

Doubt Coventry want to see us celebrate the title on their ice and we’ll need to do something we’ve not managed in Coventry all regular season and win.
I hope Nottingham are in the same mindset and don’t want to see Belfast win the title on their ice either. I do understand though if they rest a couple of players though as I wouldn’t want to risk injuries on key players when there’s still another trophy to play for.
3-2 Steelers.

Interesting to see who starts for Coventry. I expect Robson but given they had 2 other netminders dressed on Friday night, it suggests he's very much not at 100%.
Let's hope the little interaction Danny Stewart had with some Belfast fans last night has lit the "stuff you" fire and he has his team going all out to stick one on Belfast!

That clip needs to be on repeat in the Panthers dressing room before the game.
Providing the Panthers with additional motivation may have been the single most stupid mistake a Belfast supporter has ever made, they now have to travel to a sold out NIC and face a fired up Panthers squad backed by their fans made angry by this incident. If Belfast lose and the Steelers claim the title as a result the league table will have one of those little asterisks alongside the Steelers name with a note giving an assist on the title to the Belfast fans.
But first we have to do the business ourselves, despite the well predicted post CHL slump we have managed to take this title defence to the very last game and the Steelers should take a lot of credit from that.

So what's the possible outcomes for tonight, I don't mean if us or Belfast win. I mean what are the options for winning.

We win the title if:
Belfast lose in regulation and we lose in OT as we have the regulation win tie advantage.
Belfast lose in OT and we win either in regulation or OT.
Belfast lose and we win.
Basically we just need 1 more point than Belfast having got the regulation win tie advantage.

I'm glad I've cut my nails as I think they'd be getting bitten down tonight.
We need our CHL team to show up
