May the best team win, just hope whatever happens it's cracker of a tie!
Though sadly thanks to a cock-up from our ticketing platform, barring a major sale surge there's probably going to be around 1,000 empty seats this evening.

It looks like no Vally tonight, with Tansey replacing him on the Dowd line.
On paper we should win this tie, but I'm feeling quite uncomfortable despite the mauling we gave them last time.
When we get comfortable in a game we often blow teams away, but when it's tight we do seem to have a habit of missing our Grade A chances and getting caught on the counter.
I think we need a lead coming back to Sheffield on Sunday, but have a nasty feeling we'll find ourselves a couple down.
I hope we're better at faceoffs than we were on Sunday, without Simpson we don't really have that go to player for the special team faceoffs.
Webcast for me tonight, with my fingers over my eyes.
Regards
Doom

totally agree that the loss of Simpson at the dot leads to many other problems. Hopefully if we win he goes to Nottingham FaceOffs seem even more important in playoff hockey.Doom wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 5:33 pmIt looks like no Vally tonight, with Tansey replacing him on the Dowd line.
