Brandon whistle to Belfast
Kieron brown to Steelers
Cormier signed elsewhere
Greenfield lots of offers on the table but wants to return.
Saucerman wants to return
No idea of any sauces or if they are reliable. Just what I have heard from different people

Heard Whistle to Belfast a few times now. I suspect that means likely that Conway is not returning to Belfast or Long is retiring.
Also means we would need to replace - not heard Brown, but would be interesting. Will see how he does for GB as I'm still not convinced.

Why does Conway and/or Long have any influence on Brandon going to Giants? Would be a significant loss as him and an ageing Dowd are our main guys in the Brit pack.
Funny someone mentions Cormier, heard he's signed for us again already. Rumours !?
Browns an interesting one. Talent going forward, but can he convert it to this level as well as play a complete two way, 200 feet game.

I hope Cormier is back next season, as I thought his partnership with Huttula excelled.
I think Fox picked Tansey as his player of the year, which makes me think Tansey has been playing when he shouldn't be.
It's not going to happen because he's signed for the Dogs, but I wouldn't have a problem with Tremblay on our 3rd/4th line. Very good at face offs and puts himself about.

I've heard Cormier re-signed and Tansey played through a couple of injuries so some warrior for sure.Doom wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 8:52 amI hope Cormier is back next season, as I thought his partnership with Huttula excelled.

I really hope so, he has proved to be a safe pair of hands in a range of situations, hope Ciampini returns for the same reasons.paul johnston wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 9:11 amI've heard Cormier re-signed and Tansey played through a couple of injuries so some warrior for sure.Doom wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 8:52 amI hope Cormier is back next season, as I thought his partnership with Huttula excelled.

The main reason is Belfast having the luxury of Jackson Whistle being a Brit, they usually stack up on import forwards. I assume Pound stays of course, but I just have a feeling that if Conway is staying, it would probably have been confirmed already or had strong rumours of it at least. My guess is he tries for a contract in Europe again but who knows.paul johnston wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 8:17 amWhy does Conway and/or Long have any influence on Brandon going to Giants? I was forgetting Conway classed as a Brit. I was thinking maybe it was one of those off ice issues that has plagued Giants recently.
Funny how last year I maybe incorrectly remember that we'd announced a few returnees before playoffs but none this year. Maybe of course to let guys concentrate on trying to win playoffs.

Heard Champs is retiring…and then seeing his last lap at the end of our last home game felt like he was saying his goodbyes
